Essence of Punjab
"Preserving the rich legacy of traditional needlework and handcrafted fabrics, woven with the warmth of Punjabi heritage."
The Heritage of Handcrafted Elegance
Founded in 2019 in the heart of Punjab—Goniana—Suit Patiala Shahi began as a passionate dream to revive the authentic aesthetics of Punjabi heritagewear. In an era dominated by mass-produced, printed garments, we set out to build a sanctuary for the age-old crafts of hand-embroidery, Aari work, Zardozi, and hand-painting.
Every Patiala suit we create is built on a foundation of pure fabrics (Upada silks, pure crepes, chinnon, and organza) that drape gracefully. Our local master artisans (karigars) spend days meticulously detailing each neckline, sleeve, and border, transforming fabric into wearable art.
Today, with a community of over 780,000+ followers on Instagram, we are proud to ship the "Essence of Punjab" to patrons across India and globally, keeping traditional Punjabi craftsmanship alive in the modern world.
Made in Punjab, for the World
All our embroidery, stitching, and paintwork are carried out in-house under the close supervision of our master tailors. We take pride in custom tailoring, ensuring each piece is made to measure and flatters every silhouette.

"We believe that a Patiala suit is not just a combination of fabric and stitch—it represents our traditions, our celebrations, and our identity. When our patrons wear Suit Patiala Shahi, they wear a piece of Punjab's soul, crafted by hand with utmost care and love."
Suit Patiala Shahi was established in 2019 out of a personal workshop in Goniana, Punjab. Driven by a deep passion to protect the region's embroidery heritage, our founder built a dedicated team of master karigars. Today, she leads the creative vision, personally inspecting the tilla linings, color tones, and paint detail of every collection.

Our Process & Detail
Every suit undergoes a rigorous journey of detailing, taking anywhere from 12 to 45 hours of dedicated handwork.
Intricate Hand Embroidery
Specialized in traditional **Aari and Zardozi work**, our artisans use premium tilla (metallic gold/silver thread), cut-dana, pearls, and glass beads to embroider rich necklines, sleeves, and heavy salwar cuffs.
Organic Hand-Painting
Our **Hand-Painted Collection** features custom organic dyes hand-painted onto premium organza and silk dupattas. Delicate floral patterns, vines, and birds are painted petal by petal, making each dupatta unique.
Pleated Salwar Structuring
True Patiala Shahi suits are defined by their pleats. Our tailors specialize in heavy Patiala and semi-Patiala cuts, utilizing generous fabric yards to create structured, voluminous, and graceful drapes.
